The headstock, which is unusual for Westone models, is identical to the Elk Tiara. The Westone lettering is the same as on the Westone acoustic guitars and also very similar to the Westone logo from the 1982/83 production run

Westone - model-name is unknown, but this guitar is almost identical to the famous Elk Tiara. Besides that nearly nothing is known about this (Westone-)model. It never appeared in a brochure. But the construction is pretty much like Matsumoku built their set-neck-guitars. Matsumoku produced guitars for Elk so it could be, that Matsumoku continued to produce this model, when Elk went out of business at the end of the 70's. The Tiara and this Westone as well are highend-Instruments: Top-quality Hardware, finest wood-selection for neck, fretboard and body with a massive arched top und fantastic sounding Pickups.

Elaborate inlays underline the premium appeal of this guitar. Like the Washburn Eagle models, the fretboard features painted lines on the edges.

The Westone/Elk Tiara also features elegant pinstriping below the binding. And of course the high-end guitar shines with Fretedge binding.
